REDMI NOTE 8 - IT'S JUST TRASH

Greetings everyone.

In this post, I will emphasize why you SHOULD NOT buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 (Ginkgo) nowadays

First, let's talk about its main specifications: 48MP rear camera, 64/128GB storage, 4 miserable GB of RAM, terrible brightness and flash, acceptable Gorilla Glass screen, and Snapdragon 665

While the features aren't that bad, there's something in particular that makes this phone a total garbage, and that's the MIUI software

MIUI is Xiaomi's customization layer, which from my experience I can say is plagued with errors, bugs, application closure messages, slowness, and many other problems.

Could a custom ROM help?

Of course, if you install a custom ROM, you could give new life to the phone, although I don't recommend it either, since many of these have errors or hide malicious codes that only seek to steal your information to sell it or do who knows what.

How has my experience been with this "smartphone"?

As things are, in 2019 when it was launched, this phone was the bomb, but in full 2024, it's a tremendous piece of junk. Bad battery life, extremely slow performance, poor multimedia execution in the background, glitches, visual bugs, horrible video camera, very poorly optimized original software, among many other things.

To conclude, I just ask you to please not buy this garbage, nor buy it for someone else, it's better to save a little more and opt for much better alternatives (which I'm too lazy to search for, but they're out there)
